Supporting Causes Close to Their Hearts

Peggy and Dr. Ralph HudsonFor more than 20 years, Peggy and Dr. Ralph Hudson have been friends of UW-Eau Claire. They are strong supporters of the university's choral music program and have been dedicated audience members at many of UW-Eau Claire's music events.

"Peggy and I have long been choral music enthusiasts," said Ralph Hudson. "It just seemed natural to establish a UW-Eau Claire choral support fund."

A longtime physician in Eau Claire, Ralph Hudson, also is concerned about students who abuse alcohol. He and Peggy also created the Hudson Fund for Alcohol Studies Center through the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.

"Isn't it just natural that our involvement in these funds would translate into our wish that the programs continue after we are gone," said Ralph Hudson.

The Hudsons have made a provision through their estate to fully endow the funds they are supporting now.
